i’m using treadmill for exercise in home and to get good result and lose wight every body say you have to increase your heart rate during exercise but when i use the treadmill i dont feel any thing its mormal even when i go fast walking so i think i’m using it wrong so how to do it right?
As your goal is to lose weight, just getting your heart rate up by walking on a treadmill is not going to do the job. You need to burn more calories than you are eating. So nutrition plays an equally important part of your equation.
As far as getting your heart rate up high enough to burn calories, check this chart out, http://www.americanheart.org/presenter.jhtml?identifier=4736, and depending on how important it is to you, you may want to invest in a heart rate monitor.
"The body does burn a higher percentage of calories from fat in the ‘fat burning zone’ or at lower intensities. But, at higher intensities, you burn a greater number of overall calories which is what you should be concerned about when trying to lose weight." taken from the source cited.
