how good is a manual treadmill or have you used one?
i’m looking at treadmills but i don’t want to spend a ton and don’t have a big space to put it. fold up is not an issue either. i’ve noticed that manual treadmills are considerably less than motorized models but i’ve never used a manual one. are they easy to use? do you have to work harder to make them go? i’m looking for some personal experiences.

I have used one .I felt like the motion was too jerky.Not very smooth at all. Look around at the thrift stores or in the classifieds.I got a pretty good one from goodwill for 50 bucks.
Personally I’d rather just walk. The manual ones dont feel very natural since you’re the one proppelling them.
